Catherine Siachoque
Known for her many performances as a villain, there were few actresses better at playing the antagonist than Catherine Siachoque. She was born in Bogotá, Colombia as María Alexandra Catherine Siachoque Gaete. Siachoque has since become a familiar face on Spanish-language television. She started out making special appearances on shows like "Mambo" (1994), "Sobrevivir" (1995) and "La sombra del deseo" (1996). From there, she was cast as a novice nun who discovers her long lost family in "Las Juanas" (1997). The same year, she also married Miguel Varoni. In 1998, she cut her teeth in the villain role in the Colombian telenovela "La sombra del arco iris" (1998). From there, Siachoque went on to play a string of antagonist characters in shows ranging from "La guerra de las Rosas" (1999), "La venganza" (2002), "Te voy a enseñar a querer" (2004) and "Tierra de pasiones" (2006). She moved on to "Pecados ajenos" (2007) where she played a double-crossing best friend who was secretly working against the unwitting hero. After a turn as a protagonist in "Sin senos no hay paraíso" (2008), she reverted to villainess mode as Cecilia Altamira in the Telemundo remake of "¿Dónde Está Elisa?" (2010) and "Reina de corazones" (2014).
