Actress Carla Jimenez consistently appeared on a number of popular shows since her debut television role on "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 2000-06) in 2002. The following year, she appeared on a two-episode arc of "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009). After appearing on shows such as "Malcolm in the Middle" (Fox, 2000-06) in 2005 and "The Shield" (FX, 2002-08) in 2006, Jimenez was cast as Candidia in the Jack Black comedy "Nacho Libre" (2006). She was continuing to land a number of single episode roles on various TV shows like "My Name Is Earl" (NBC, 2005-09) and "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-), in addition to much more, when she was cast in a recurring role on "Desperate Housewives" (ABC, 2004-2012) in 2010. She portrayed Rosa on "Raising Hope" (Fox, 2010-14), Blanca on "Last Man Standing" (ABC, 2011-), and Janice on "Growing Up Fisher" (NBC, 2014), all recurring roles. She played a deranged woman in horror thriller "The Purge: Anarchy" (2014) and appeared on "The Mindy Project" (Hulu, 2012-) after the show's move from Fox to streaming service Hulu. Jimenez next played Alba Pemberton on the Kaitlin Olson-led comedy "The Mick" (Fox, 2017).
