In 2010, Grammer returned to the spotlight as one of the stars of Bravo's popular reality series "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which gave viewers a peek into the lives of Hollywood socialites as they went on luxurious shopping sprees, attended exclusive parties, and participated in shocking showdowns with each other. At the outset, Grammer's plotlines mostly revolved around her feuding with co-star Kyle Richards, but as the series progressed, it began revealing painful details of her crumbling marriage. Grammer's Emmy-winning husband reportedly called her while he was in New York to announce that he wanted out of their marriage and that he had started a relationship with flight attendant Kayte Walsh. The show chronicled Grammer's unsuccessful attempts to communicate and even reconcile with the actor. The couple officially divorced in February 2011; a year later, they announced that they would be sharing joint custody of their two children.
