Bryan White
Bryan White is a chart-topping country music singer who has also performed musically on film. White was only 20 when he released his first album, called "Bryan White," in 1994. The album produced two number one singles, went platinum, and won White critical praise, plus the Top New Male Vocalist honor from the Academy of Country Music. White's next album, "Between Now and Forever" also went platinum and produced two more number one singles. Although White's third album, 1997's "The Right Place," did not perform quite as strongly as his first two, it still attained gold status and produced three singles that reached the top 30 on the country charts. Following this release, White appeared in his first film project, the 1998 Warner Brothers animated musical adventure "Quest for Camelot." White provided the singing voice for Garrett, a young blind hermit who becomes inspired when he falls in love with the brave Kayley. Actor Cary Elwes performed the speaking parts for Garrett. The soundtrack to "Quest for Camelot," which featured White on two songs, became noteworthy because of the track "The Prayer." This song, sung by Celine Dion, won a Golden Glode for Best Original Song and also was nominated for an Academy Award in the same category. White released a fourth album "How Lucky I Am" in 1999 and a greatest hits collection in 2000.
