Meanwhile, the team treats a 16-year-old girl who inexplicably collapsed days before embarking on an ambitious sailing tour around the globe. Despite the patient's life-changing diagnosis, the patient's family insists on getting her back on the seas in time for her potentially record-breaking launch. But to the team's surprise, including House, Masters makes a bold decision regarding the patient'’s treatment.

When the remains of famous billionaire explorer Henry Charles’s body is found in Antarctica, the high profile case is brought to Brennan and Booth to determine if his death was a murder.  The Jeffersonian team confirms he was killed when he went missing ten years ago on an expedition, but the timeframe puts the Jeffersonian’s Dr. Clark Edison, who was with Charles for the expedition, on the short list of suspects.  Meanwhile, Cam’s sister comes into town to help with wedding plans and old family friction comes into the picture.

As the robbery and triple homicide at a Crowder-owned drug clinic places Boyd (Walton Goggins) on a collision course with his greedy rivals, the investigation leads Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) into a potentially deadly trap. When Winona (Natalie Zea) disappears, Raylan suspects her of stealing money from the evidence locker to finance her escape.
