Brian Markinson

Brian Markinson, a Canadian-born actor, found success in the Hollywood movie scene, starring in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Markinson started his acting career landing roles in such films as the drama "The Doctor" (1991) with William Hurt, "Wolf" (1994) and the comedy "Mixed Nuts" (1994) with Steve Martin. He also appeared in the Tom Hanks blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Apollo 13" (1995), the Robert Redford dramatic adaptation "Up Close and Personal" (1996) and the Tommy Lee Jones action flick "Volcano" (1997). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the John Travolta dramatic adaptation "Primary Colors" (1998), "Sweet and Lowdown" (1999) with Sean Penn and the Garry Shandling comedy "What Planet Are You From?" (2000). He also appeared in "Small Time Crooks" (2000) with Woody Allen. Recently, he continued to act in "RV" (2006), the action movie "Shooter" (2007) with Mark Wahlberg and the dramatic adaptation "Charlie Wilson's War" (2007) with Tom Hanks. He also appeared in "Personal Effects" (2009). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Supernatural" (2005-). Most recently, Markinson appeared in "When We Rise" (2017).
