Bradford May

Best known for his visual contributions to "Hawaii Five-0," prolific TV director and cinematographer Bradford May has over 100 credits and counting. May won an Emmy in 1992 for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Cinematography for "Lady Against the Odds"; he directed and shot the Crystal Bernard-led small screen mystery, which garnered him his first award after two decades in the business. May cut his teeth as director of photography on small-screen '80s favorites like "Dallas" and "Simon & Simon," and helmed episodes of the bizzaro "Twilight Zone" reboot and Golden Globe-winning PI drama "The Equalizer." In 1995, May made the direct-to-video follow-up to Sam Raimi's gritty comic book pic, "Darkman." "Darkman II: The Return of Durant" starred Arnold Vosloo as the deformed scientist turned superhero (played in Raimi's film by Liam Neeson), and Larry Drake reprised his role as antagonistic mobster Robert G. Durant. May rounded out the trilogy in 1996 with "Darkman III: Die Darkman Die." In 2000, he joined "JAG," directing 30 episodes of the Emmy-winner between its sixth and tenth seasons. "Devil's Prey" in 2001 marked May's big screen directorial debut, a satanic thriller starring Ashley Jones of daytime staple "The Bold and the Beautiful." He has subsequently established himself as a premier director of TV movies.
