Boyd "Red" Morgan
Red Morgan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Morgan appeared in such films as the western "Gun Duel in Durango" (1957) with George Montgomery, "Beyond the Time Barrier" (1960) and "The Amazing Transparent Man" (1960). He also appeared in the action film "Deadwood '76" (1965) with Arch Hall Jr. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Dan Duryea action movie "The Bounty Killer" (1965), "The Sons of Katie Elder" (1965) with John Wayne and the John Wayne adaptation "The War Wagon" (1967). He also appeared in the Gregory Peck adaptation "The Stalking Moon" (1968). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the John Wayne dramatic adaptation "True Grit" (1969), the western "Rio Lobo" (1970) with John Wayne and the western "The Cheyenne Social Club" (1970) with James Stewart. Morgan more recently worked on "Seven Alone" (1974) with Dewey Martin. Morgan passed away in January 1988 at the age of 73.
