Bonnie Burroughs
Bonnie Burroughs (aka Bonnie Pierone) is a Georgia-born character actor best known for her supporting roles in TV dramas and soaps. Burroughs began her acting career in the late 1980s with small parts on such popular daytime soaps as "One Life to Live" and "Days of Our Lives." By the '90s, Burroughs had made the leap to primetime, although she was still appearing primarily in one-shot guest parts on popular dramas like the Andy Griffith courtroom drama "Matlock" and the blockbuster hit "ER." After working in the industry for nearly two decades, Burroughs's biggest break came in 2009 when she was cast as Shawn Petrers, one of the lead characters in "Rockville CA," an experimental web drama centered around a struggling rock club that was created for the online-only version of The WB by Josh Schwartz, who had previously scored hits with shows like "The OC." Despite decent reviews, the show lasted for only 17 episodes.
