Bobby Schofield

Bobby Schofield was born in Kirkby, Merseyside, England, becoming the third child to stage and screen actor Andrew Schofield and Angela Schofield. Like his older sister Jessica, Bobby inherited his father's zest for performance, acting in school plays and youth theater program productions throughout childhood. He made his screen debut at the age of 11 with a minor part in an episode of the long-running children's drama series "Grange Hill" (BBC 1978-2008), though it wouldn't be for another decade that the young Schofield began his acting career proper. At age 20, Schofield landed a two-episode stint in the medical soap opera "Doctors" (BBC 2000-), and shortly afterward moved onto the big screen world with a role in the Kevin Macdonald-directed thriller "Black Sea" (2014). Minor parts and smaller productions lined the years to follow until Schofield earned his first recurring role by way of the historical fiction drama series "Knightfall" (History 2017-). He was cast as Parsifal, a peasant who teams up with the spotlighted Knights Templar on their varied adventures through 13th century Europe. Around the same time, Schofield also earned a supporting part in the sports biopic "The Catcher Was a Spy" (2017).
