Billy Morrissette
Billy Morrissette was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "A Father's Homecoming" (1987-88), "Dance 'Til Dawn" (NBC, 1988-89) and "So Proudly We Hail" (CBS, 1989-1990). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "One of the Boys" (NBC, 1988-89) and "Blossom" (NBC, 1990-95). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Danger Theatre" (1992-93), "Living Single" (Fox, 1992-98) and "Mad About You" (NBC, 1992-99). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Bonnie & Clyde: The True Story" (Fox, 1991-92). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Pump Up the Volume" (1990) with Christian Slater and the Oliver Reed horror movie "Severed Ties" (1992). Recently, he tackled roles on "Diagnosis Murder" (1993-2001), "Party of Five" (Fox, 1994-2000) and "John Grisham's The Client" (CBS, 1995-96). He also was featured in the TV movie "The Westing Game" (Showtime, 1997-98). He also appeared in the comedy sequel "Vegas Vacation" (1997) with Chevy Chase. Morrissette most recently acted on "Girls" (HBO, 2011-). Morrissette was married to Maura Tierney.
