Billy Kay
The busy actor made his primetime debut in the NBC miniseries "Danielle Steel's 'Zoya'" (NBC, 1995) and later served as host of the children's series "The Phred on Your Head" (NOGGIN Network, 1999). Kay had a featured role in the Fox Family Channel original "Time Share," which aired in June 2000, just a few scant months after he landed his most high profile role to date, as troubled teen Shayne Lewis on the long-running CBS daytime serial "Guiding Light." Kay's growing reputation was further enhanced with a strong turn as a teenage hustler in the acclaimed independent feature "L.I.E." (2001), which premiered at Sundance. Skillfully negotiating a difficult part, he exuded the proper mix of cocky bravado and innocence and delivered a bracingly original supporting performance that marked him as one to watch.
