Betsy Randle

Actress Betsy Randle is best known as Amy Matthews on the popular television show "Boy Meets World," throughout much of the 1990s. Randle attended the University of Kansas, before launching her acting career in the late 1980s with one-off appearances on such shows as "Family Ties" and "Baywatch." The early 1990s would see Randle in an extended role on the hit show "Home Improvement" (as Karen Kelly), from 1992 through 1993, before landing her aforementioned role on "Boy Meets World." Playing the mother of Ben Savage's character, Cory Matthews, Randle appeared in a total of 124 episodes of the show, from 1993 through 2000. After the conclusion of "Boy Meets World," Randle would continue to act on a sporadic basis, including another extended role on "Charmed" (as Mrs. Winterbourne) in 2004. Afterwards however, Randle largely retired from acting, except for appearing in a few television commercials.
