Beth Stern
American model, author, and animal activist Beth Ostrosky Stern was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Pittsburgh but left early to pursue a modeling career. Ostrosky Stern saw success as a model appearing on the cover of several magazines and even breaking into acting. Her first movie credit was with Ben Stiller in "Flirting with Disaster" (1996). In addition to her career in front of the camera, Ostrosky Stern became an impassioned animal activist. Following her marriage to Howard Stern in 2007, she began maintaining foster rooms in her homes and documenting them on social media. Ostrosky Stern fostered and/or rescued over 1000 animals by finding them permanent homes. In her role as model and activist she has appeared on over a dozen talk shows including "The Tyra Banks Show" (Syndication, 2005-10), "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (ABC, 2003-), and "Today" (NBC, 1952-). Starting in 2014, Beth Ostrosky Stern has hosted the yearly "Kitten Bowl" (Hallmark, 2014-), a popular Super Bowl counter-program.
