Ben Wheatley

Ben Wheatley worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. In 2006, he won a Lion Award at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity for directing a video for AMBX with advertising agency The Viral Factory. Wheatley started off in the entertainment industry by directing television comedies like "The Wrong Door" (IFC, 2009). Wheatley also tried his hand at directing for the big screen with "Down Terrace" (2010) with Robin Hill. In addition to his other work, at this time Wheatley directed a few films such as the Robin Hill comedy "Down Terrace" (2010). In addition to directing, Wheatley acted in "Cider With Rosie" (PBS, 1998-99). He continued to work in film in the 2010s, directing motion pictures like the Neil Maskell crime picture "Kill List" (2012), the Michael Smiley dramatic period piece "A Field In England" (2013) and the black comedy "Sightseers" (2013) with Alice Lowe. He also appeared in "The ABCs of Death" (2013). Wheatley had a number of different projects under his belt in the 2010s, including "High-Rise" with Tom Hiddleston (2016), "Tank 432" (2016) and "The Greasy Strangler" (2016) starring Michael St. Michaels. His credits also expanded to "Free Fire" (2017). Wheatley most recently produced the Tom Meeten drama "The Ghoul" (2017). Wheatley was married to Amy Jump.
