Ben Carter

Ben Carter was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Carter's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Adventure's End" (1937), "Chad Hanna" (1940) and "Little Old New York" (1940). He also appeared in the dramatic sports film "Maryland" (1940) with Walter Brennan and "Dressed to Kill" (1941). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Sleeping West" (1941), "Reap the Wild Wind" (1942) with Ray Milland and the romance "Crash Dive" (1943) with Tyrone Power. He also appeared in "Lady on a Train" (1945). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Scarlet Clue" (1945), "Dark Alibi" (1946) and "The Harvey Girls" (1946) with Judy Garland. He also appeared in the drama "Night Without Sleep" (1952) with Linda Darnell. Carter was most recently credited in the Sharon Stone crime drama "Diabolique" (1996). Carter passed away in December 1946 at the age of 35.
