Barbara Auer
Strikingly attractive German actress Barbara Auer began her career in German television in the 1980s. Her breakthrough came with a starring role in a made-for-TV romantic comedy, "Der Boss aus dem Westen," in 1989. Three years later, her work as the lead in the divorce drama "Meine Tochter gehört mir" brought her the Best Actress statue at the German Film Awards. Since then, Auer has worked consistently in both television and film in a variety of genres. Her work as a haunted left-wing terrorist living underground in 2000's "The State I Am In" brought considerable acclaim outside of her native Germany.
