Antoine Harris
Actor Antoine Harris made inroads to stardom with two separate hit television projects: the TV-movie "The Breaks" (2015) and the HBO series "Ballers (2015-), both of which cast him as young men determined to make their names in their chosen fields. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Harris showed an interest in the arts at an early age, experimenting with singing, dance and drawing before settling on performance as his primary showcase. He began his screen career in short films and independent features before landing his first network television role on a 2014 episode of "Person of Interest" (CBS, 2011-2016). Harris worked his way up to guest appearances in episodic series before earning his big break in two separate television projects: he was cast in the VH1 original production "The Breaks," as a young New York rapper striving to make his name in the city's hip-hop scene during the 1990s, and then landed a recurring role on the Dwayne Johnson comedy-drama "Ballers" (HBO, 2015-) as a hotheaded football player. Both projects provided sizable ratings for the respective networks, and when VH1 decided to expand "The Breaks" into a weekly series, Harris was tapped to reprise his turn as Ahmed "Ahm" Harris.
