Anthony Newlands
Actor Anthony Newlands appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Newlands's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as "Room at the Top" (1959), the Peter Finch dramatic adaptation "The Trials of Oscar Wilde" (1960) and "Kaleidoscope" (1966). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "The Adventures of the Scarlet Pimpernel" (1955-56). He kept working in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, starring in "Solo For Sparrow" (1966), the dramatic adaptation "The Magus" (1968) with Anthony Quinn and the Vincent Price thriller "Scream and Scream Again" (1970). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Murder Is a One-Act Play" (ABC, 1973-74). Newlands more recently appeared in "Prisoner of Honor" (HBO, 1991-92).
