Anneke Kim Sarnau
A tomboyish blonde with a fetchingly gap-toothed grin, Anneke Kim Sarnau is a German actress with extensive credits in both film and television in her homeland. Sarnau started out with small roles in several mid-1990s made-for-TV movies. Her breakthrough came in the 2001 drama "Ende der Saison," where she played a young woman caring for her terminally ill mother. Another starring role, in the grim police drama "Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt," won her Germany's equivalent of an Emmy. In 2010, Sarnau joined the cast of Germany's long-running procedural drama "Polizeiruf 110." A rare venture into Hollywood territory found Sarnau with a small part in the acclaimed thriller "The Constant Gardener."
