Ann Bell

Ann Bell started off her acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in the Oskar Werner adaptation "Fahrenheit 451" (1966), "To Sir With Love" (1967) and the Nicol Williamson dramatic adaptation "The Reckoning" (1969). She also appeared in "The Statue" (1970) with David Niven and the experimental "Crystal Gazing" (1982) with Gavin Richards. She also appeared in the TV movie "Spectre" (NBC, 1976-77). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Tumbledown" (1989-1990). Following that project, Bell worked on mostly television programs, including "Tenko" (1984-85) and "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Christabel" (PBS, 1988-89) and "Second Time Around" (PBS, 1992-93). During these years, she also worked in film, earning a part in "Champions" (1983). She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Tenko" (1984-85) and "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013). She also was featured in the TV movie "Anna Lee: The Cook's Tale" (1993-94). Bell put her acting skills to use in films like the sports drama "When Saturday Comes" (1997) with Sean Bean and "The Land Girls" (1998) with Catherine McCormack. Bell most recently appeared in "The Forsyte Saga" (2002-04).
