Anjan Dutt
Anjan Dutt was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dutt began his acting career with roles in such films as "Grihayadhya" (1982), "Kharij" (1983) and "Sheet Grishmar Smriti" (1983). He also appeared in the drama "Bengali Nights" (1988) with Hugh Grant. His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the drama "City of Joy" (1992) with Patrick Swayze, the mystery "Mahaprithivi" (1992) with Soumitra Chatterjee and "The Confined" (1994). He also appeared in "What the Sea Said" (1995). Recently, Dutt directed "Bow Barracks Forever" (2004) with Lillete Dubey and the Victor Banerjee drama "Chowrasta - Crossroads of Love" (2009). In addition to his directing, Dutt also appeared on-screen in the Rahul Bose drama "Mr. and Mrs. Iyer" (2003). Dutt most recently directed "Abar Byomkesh" (2012).
