Angus Young

Angus Young built up his entertainment career by putting his musical skills to use in the world of Hollywood. Young began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the drama "Fighting Back" (1981) with Lewis Fitz-Gerald, the thriller "Maximum Overdrive" (1986) with Emilio Estevez and "Last Action Hero" (1993) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. His music also appeared in the dramatic comedy "Empire Records" (1995) with Anthony LaPaglia. An actor as well as a musician, Young played a part in "AC/DC: Let There Be Rock" (1980) and the Glenda Jackson drama "Doombeach" (1990). In the early 2000s, Young's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the musical comedy "School of Rock" (2003) with Jack Black, the Adam Sandler hit action comedy "The Longest Yard" (2005) and "The Dukes of Hazzard" (2005). His work was also in the Will Ferrell blockbuster comedic action flick "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" (2006). Young's music was also featured in the Robert Downey Jr. hit action movie "Iron Man 2" (2010), the Jaden Smith smash hit action picture "The Karate Kid" (2010) and the Will Ferrell smash hit animated picture "Megamind" (2010). His music was also featured in the Kristen Wiig box office smash comedy "Bridesmaids" (2011) and the Hank Azaria box office smash animated comedy "The Smurfs" (2011). Young's music was most recently used in the Dane Cook children's sequel "Planes: Fire and Rescue" (2014).
