Angela Alvarado

Angela Alvarado was a big screen film actress known for powerful performances. Alvarado began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Bobby Rosa musical "Salsa" (1988), "Gummibarchen kusst man nicht" (1989) with Christopher Mitchum and "Shadowhunter" (1993). She also appeared in the action flick "Judgment Night" (1993) with Emilio Estevez and the Nick Nolte dramatic comedy "I'll Do Anything" (1994). She had an early role on the television special "Don Johnson's Music Video Feature Heartbeat" (HBO, 1986-87). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in "Detox" (2001) with Sylvester Stallone. She also appeared in the TV special "Nobody's Girls: Five Women of the West" (PBS, 1994-95). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Gun" (ABC, 1996-97). Most recently, Alvarado acted on "The Fosters" (ABC Family, 2012-15).
