Andrea Russett

Emerging in the early 2010s via appearances tailored to various social media sites, Andrea Russett is an Internet personality and actress from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She made her YouTube debut in her early teens with a music video for a contest to meet Justin Bieber. After accumulating followers numbering in the millions by sharing her thoughts, tips, and experiences as a high schooler, Russett relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 a week after her 18th birthday. She soon landed a part in the high-school comedy <I>Expelled, released in 2014, and continued to appear in film shorts, small film roles, and television guest spots over the next couple of years. In a project that began as a series of Snapchat videos, Russett co-produced and starred in the horror film <I>Sickhouse, which was released online in the summer of 2016. The same summer, she made a cameo in the Zac Efron-Adam Devine film <I>Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and joined forces with the Heard Well label to release the music collection Mind Medicine. It featured a dozen songs by varied EDM artists whom Russett hoped to give more exposure, including Robert DeLong, Wafia, and Coleman Hell. ~ Marcy Donelson, Rovi
