Multi-talented performer Amy Pemberton proved at home on television, in feature films and on stage, though she found her most consistent showcase as a voice actor on series like "Doc McStuffins" (Disney Jr., 2012-) and "Legends of Tomorrow" (The CW, 2015-). Born and raised in the English town of Stowmarket, Suffolk, she attended Stowupland High School and made her acting debut in 2004 as a fairy on the British children's series "The Mysti Show" (BBC, 2004-2005). From there, she made regular guest appearances on other UK children's programming while also logging roles in short features and on stage, most notably in a 2006 production of "Footloose" at the Novello Theatre in London's West End. Pemberton soon proved a remarkably versatile performer, moving smoothly between stage musicals like "Jersey Boys" in 2008 and episodic television, including the long-running medical soap opera "Doctors" (BBC One, 2000-), as well as the occasional feature film like the science fiction thriller "Storage 24" (2012). In 2013, she added voice acting to her busy resume, and soon became an in-demand performer for animated series like "Doc McStuffins," audio books and video games like "Game of Thrones" (Telltale Games, 2014). Pemberton landed one of her most high-profile vocal roles in 2016 when she was tapped to provide the voice of Gideon, the artificial intelligence component of the time-traveling ship the Waverider, on "The Flash" (The CW, 2014-). Gideon soon became a recurring character on the network's popular DC Universe series "Legends of Tomorrow," prompting Pemberton to sign with an American talent agency and relocate to the United States.
