Amr Waked
Amr Waked rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Waked began his acting career with roles in such films as the comedic adaptation "Gannat al Shayateen" (2001) with Mahmoud Hamida, the Ahmed El Sakka foreign "Tito" (2004) and the Maha Abou-Ouf foreign "Ahla al awkat" (2005). He also appeared in the foreign "Khalty Faransa" (2005) with Maha Amar, the dramatic adaptation "Syriana" (2005) with George Clooney and the Noor Al Shareef action flick "Dam al Gazal" (2006). He continued to act in productions like "Talk About Love" (2006) with Hanan Turk, "The Aquarium" (2008) and the thrilling mystery "Il padre e lo straniero" (2011) with Alessandro Gassman. He also appeared in "The Father and the Foreigner" (2011) with Nadine Labaki and "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" (2012) with Emily Blunt. He also landed a role in the miniseries "House of Saddam" (2007-08). More recently, he continued to act in the Hani Shukrallah documentary "Uprising" (2013), "Winter of Discontent" (2013) and "Colt 45" (2014). He also appeared in the Scarlett Johansson smash hit action film "Lucy" (2014). Waked most recently acted in "Geostorm" (2017).
