A young woman is found trespassing in a family's home, and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) is called in to catch the intruder. The trespasser's wallet leads Stabler to a surprising suspect, his daughter, Kathleen Stabler (guest star Allison Siko). Detective Stabler is shocked to find his daughter has fallen in love with the kind of crowd he spends his days condemning. With his family life at stake, Stabler must decide how far he will go to save Kathleen, even turning to his estranged mother, Bernadette Stabler (guest star Ellen Burstyn), for help. In order to save Kathleen, Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) knows that she must step in to help her friend and partner before things take a turn for the worst. Kim Garnet (Guest Star Carly Schroeder) is found brutally beaten after she sends out nude photos of herself via text message. Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) pay a visit to Kim’s boyfriend, Steve Walker (Guest Star Alexander Nifong), but eventually learn that he is not the only recipient of the nude photos. Kathleen Stabler (Guest Star Allison Siko) steps in to give Kim advice, as she tries to track down the culprit who distributed the photos. But after Counselor Samantha Copeland (Guest Star Melinda McGraw) demands that Benson arrest Kim for producing and distributing child pornography, Kim must face the possibility of life-long consequences when Judge Hilda Marsden (Guest Star Swoosie Kurtz) hands down an unusually harsh sentence. Detective Stabler (Christopher Meloni) goes to his daughter Kathleen’s (guest star Allison Siko) university to discuss rape prevention at a Take Back the Night rally. When a girl from the crowd accuses another student of rape, Stabler and Detective Benson (Mariska Hargitay) are assigned the case. What emerges are conflicting accounts and fiery accusations without substantial evidence to back them up. To complicate matters further, ADA Paxton (guest star Christine Lahti) returns to prosecute the case, and Kathleen oversteps her bounds, which could land her and her father in hot water.
