Aliyah Royale

Aliyah Royale

Aliyah Royale was an American actress who was best known for her roles on the CBS limited series "The Red Line" (CBS, 2019), as well as the second spinoff of the zombie series "The Walking Dead" (AMC, 2010-). Royale was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but moved around a lot as a young girl. Her interest in acting began when she was a young girl. Initially, Royale nabbed a number of parts in musical theater, and eventually worked her way up to roles in commercials and short films. By the mid-2010s Royale was nabbing parts on TV movies like "Rescuing Madison" (Hallmark Channel, 2014) and "Strange Calls" (2015). With her acting career picking up steam, Royale began adding some TV guest spots to her growing acting resume. She also played a supporting role in the 2018 short drama "War Paint" (2018), which was nominated for the prestigious Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. After nearly a decade of building her acting chops through film and TV roles, Aliyah Royale got her first big break in 2019 when she was cast alongside Noah Wyle and Emayatzy Corinealdi on the CBS limited series "The Red Line." The series, which followed three families in Chicago, ran for eight episodes. However, 2019 would prove to be an even bigger year for the young actress, after it was announced that she was joining the cast of an upcoming eagerly anticipated spin-off series of "The Walking Dead" that focused on a generation of young people who grow up keenly aware that the zombie apocalypse is their reality.
