Amy (America Ferrera) finds herself at odds with her coworkers when some salary numbers get leaked, while Dina (Lauren Ash) worries that Jonah (Ben Feldman) is coming between her and Amy. Mateo (Nico Santos) tries to give himself a promotion, and Garrett (Colton Dunn) attempts to sabotage Glenn’s (Mark McKinney) positive attitude.
After a famous crossword puzzle master is found in an urban fracking site, the Jeffersonian team investigates puzzle champ’s fellow players in order to track down the killer. After discovering that the victim was suffering from a mental illness when he died, the team realizes the case is much more complicated than it seemed. Meanwhile, a very pregnant Daisy seeks comfort from her doula, Valentina , and the newest member of the Jeffersonian family arrives.
The team in D.C. frantically uses every asset and inter-agency contact they have in an attempt to locate their missing team members, on the 12th season premiere.

Wray goes to confront his agent and discovers it’s a volatile time at the agency.
