Alessandro Gassmann
Alessandro Gassman was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Gassman's earliest roles were in film, including "Di Padre in Figlio" (1983), "La Monaca di Monza" (1987) and "Comprarsi la Vita" (1990) with Marianne Basler. He also appeared in "Quando Eravamo Repressi" (1992), "Golden Balls" (1993) with Javier Bardem and the Vanessa Redgrave dramatic adaptation "A Month By the Lake" (1995). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the Alessandro Benvenuti comedy "I Miei Piu Cari Amici" (1998), "Steam" (1998) and "Once Upon a Time in Little Italy" (1999). He also appeared in "Toni" (1999). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the dramatic adaptation "Quiet Chaos" (2009) with Nanni Moretti, the Christian De Sica foreign "Natale a Beverly Hills" (2009) and "Basilicata Coast to Coast" (2010). He also appeared in "Il padre e lo straniero" (2011) and "Four Single Fathers" (2011). Gassman most recently acted in "The Dinner" (2015).
