Alessandra Martines
Alessandra Martines began acting in the 1987 Hungarian drama "Miss Arizona," and had sporadic film roles for the rest of the 1980s, including a part in "Sinbad of the Seven Seas" in 1989. Her career picked up beginning in 1991, when she starred in the Italian television movie "Fantaghiro." Martines reprised this role throughout the 1990s in the fantasy film's four sequels. She married director Claude Lelouch in 1993, and became well recognized for her work with her husband. Lelouch directed Martines in films including "Les miserables," "And Now Ladies and Gentlemen," and "Hasards ou coincidences." Martines is primarily known for her European work, and continued to act in a variety of films throughout the 2000s.
