Alan Wheatley
Alan Wheatley was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Wheatley worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Caesar and Cleopatra" with Vivien Leigh (1946) and "Brighton Rock" (1951) starring Richard Attenborough. Later, Wheatley acted in the crime feature "The House Across the Lake" (1954) with Alex Nicol, the James Hayter comedy adventure "The Pickwick Papers" (1954) and "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (CBS, 1955-58). He also appeared in "Simon and Laura" (1956) with Peter Finch. Later in his career, Wheatley worked on the Steve Railsback action film "Lifeforce" (1985). Wheatley passed away in August 1991 at the age of 84.
