Alan Cassell

Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Alan Cassell graced the silver screen many times. Early on in his acting career, Cassell landed roles in various films, including "Plugg" (1975), "Money Movers" (1978) with Terence Donovan and "Cathy's Child" (1979). He also appeared in the Edward Woodward dramatic period piece "Breaker Morant" (1980), "Harlequin" (1980) and "The Club" (1980). He continued to act in productions like the drama "Puberty Blues" (1981) with Nell Schofield, "Squizzy Taylor" (1981) and "The Dark Room" (1982). He also appeared in the adventure "The Fire in the Stone" (1983) with Paul Smith and the Bill Kerr romance "The Settlement" (1983). During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the drama "The Highest Honor - A True Story" (1984) with Atsuo Nakamura, the crime flick "The Big Hurt" (1985) with David Bradshaw and the drama "Belinda" (1987) with Deanne Jeffs. Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Princess Kate" (PBS, 1989-1990). Cassell most recently acted in the comedy "Strange Bedfellows" (2005) with Michael Caton.
