Alaina Huffman

A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Alaina Huffman went to her first audition at the age of 13. The show in question was a Fox Family Channel pilot, and despite the stiff competition, Huffman was offered the role. However, a modeling scout noticed Huffman as well, and she eschewed the Fox Family opportunity in favor of a modeling career. This decision proved fruitful and allowed Alaina the opportunity to travel the world, while modeling for high fashion houses and making money. When her family moved to Dallas, Texas, Alaina seized the opportunity to attend college in the United States, and leave the world of modeling behind. While enrolled in school, Alaina acted in a number of independent films and eventually moved to Los Angeles, where she planned to pursue acting more seriously. Her first on-screen role was as "Rina, the Hot Girl" on an episode of "Dawson's Creek," followed by a small role in the Elizabeth Hurley feature film "Serving Sara." Huffman continued to work in television series, playing guest or recurring roles on such popular shows as "The O.C," "NCIS," and "Medical Investigation." From 2009 to 2011, Huffman appeared almost exclusively on shows with supernatural or sci-fi plot lines, such as "Smallville," "Stargate Universe," and "Alphas." Huffman is married to John Huffman, with whom she has four children.
