Al Ferguson

Al Ferguson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Ferguson started his acting career landing roles in such films as "The Frame-Up" (1917), "Miracles of the Jungle" (1921) and "Flames of Passion" (1923). He also appeared in "Fangs of Destiny" (1927), the adventure "Tarzan, the Mighty" (1928) with Frank Merrill and the western "The Wagon Master" (1929) with Ken Maynard. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties, appearing in the John Wayne adventure "The Three Musketeers" (1933), "The Desert Trail" (1935) with John Wayne and "The Laramie Kid" (1935). He also appeared in "Flash Gordon" (1936) with Buster Crabbe. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the western "Lightning Raiders" (1946) with Buster Crabbe, "Overland Riders" (1946) and "Brute Force" (1947). He also appeared in the western "The Fighting Mustang" (1948) with Sunset Carson and the thriller "The Big Clock" (1948) with Ray Milland. Ferguson more recently acted in the Julie Harris dramatic adaptation "East of Eden" (1955). Ferguson passed away in December 1971 at the age of 83.
