Deuce wins a contest where he'll get to compete for $10,000. CeCe and Rocky are convinced Deuce's new girlfriend is only after the money, and must find a way to break them up.
CeCe volunteers herself and Rocky to be choreographers for a dance at the Little Cutie Queen Pageant that Gary Wilde is hosting. When the girls realize how bratty most the kids are, they get behind Eileen, an awkward 8 year old, and try to help her win.
A cute local dancer comes to perform on Shake It Up, Chicago!, and all the girls are smitten. He asks each girl individually to hang out, so Rocky, CeCe, and Tinka all show up at Crusty's the next day, believing they each have a date with him.
CeCe and Rocky find out that Dina's mother, Mrs. Garcia, is very controlling and is planning Dina an over the top themed birthday party. They offer to help plan the party to make it more Dina-friendly.
A reporter gives Shake It Up, Chicago! a bad review in a popular online blog, and the girls are determined to convince him he was wrong.
