Adrienne Marden

Adrienne Marden was an accomplished actress who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Marden began her acting career with roles in such films as "F-Man" (1936), the Robert Ryan drama "Inferno" (1953) and "Count Three and Pray" (1955). She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "One Desire" (1955) with Anne Baxter. Her film career continued throughout the fifties and the sixties in productions like the Jose Ferrer dramatic adaptation "The Shrike" (1955), the western "Man From Del Rio" (1956) with Anthony Quinn and the Burt Lancaster dramatic adaptation "Birdman of Alcatraz" (1962). She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Walk on the Wild Side" (1962) with Laurence Harvey. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). She also was featured in the TV movies "A Clear and Present Danger" (1969-1970), "In Name Only" (ABC, 1969-1970) and "The Failing of Raymond" (ABC, 1971-72). Marden more recently appeared in "The New Adventures of Heidi" (NBC, 1978-79). Marden passed away in November 1978 at the age of 69.
