Adriana Ozores
The daughter of famed Spanish actor Jose Luis, Adriana Ozores is an award-winning actress with numerous film, television and theater credits. She made her film debut in 1980 with a small role in the comedy "El canto de la cigarra," and she soon landed roles in numerous film and TV programs. From 1981 to 1983 Ozores hosted the Spanish variety series "Aplauso" and appeared in several films directed by her uncle, Mariano Ozores, including the popular comedy "Brujas magicas". She spent much of the late '80s and early '90s performing in stage productions and plays and made infrequent on-screen appearances. In 1998 she landed a role in the award-winning comedy "My First Night," which became the first of several collaborations between Ozores and director Miguel Albaladejo. Her supporting role in the Spanish Civil War drama "La hora de los valientes" earned her a Goya Award in 1999. After major roles in the popular films "Manolito Four Eyes" and "By My Side Again," Ozores landed a recurring role on the TV series "Periodistas," which led to the courtroom drama "Sleeping Luck" and the family melodrama "Hector." In 2005 she joined the cast of the sitcom "Paco's Men," and since then, played a key role in the capitalist drama "The Method" and appeared in the mini-series "La Duquesa," for which she was nominated for the Award of the Spanish Actors Union. Ozores reprised the role of Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart in 2011's "La Duquesa II."
