Adam Conover
Comedian and host Adam Conover first caught major attention for his prominent roles in many videos for the online outlet CollegeHumor. Born in Wading River, New York to a botanist and a marine biologist, Conover has often humorously remarked that since his sister is a nuclear physicist, he is the only member of his family without a PhD. Conover had little doubt of his own career path however, joining up with the sketch comedy troupe Olde English while attending Bard College. By 2008, the group had filmed a TV pilot, and though it wasn't picked up, Conover moved forward, becoming a writer on the late night talk show "Late Night Republic" (Syndicated, 2010-11). Within two years, the comedian was expanding his horizons even further, becoming a constant fixture in CollegeHumor's original videos. The following year found him regularly appearing on the pop culture series "Best Week Ever" (VH1, 2004-2013) and premiering a movie made with his Olde English crew, "The Exquisite Corpse Project" (2013). He also began stepping behind the camera as well, directing and starring in the CollegeHumor series "Yay or Nay." While 2014 found Conover taking on a number of voice acting roles on the animated series "BoJack Horseman" (Netflix, 2014-), 2015 would prove to be one of the biggest in his career to date, as he created and starred in the series "Adam Ruins Everything," (TruTV, 2015-), in which he humorously explored the unseen problems, detriments, and overall bad sides to things society takes for granted. In 2016, he expanded the show into a podcast also named "Adam Ruins Everything."
