Adam Campbell

With his charming smile and distinctive blonde hair, Adam Campbell became best known as harried news producer Greg Walsh on the sitcom "Great News" (NBC, 2017-). Born in Bath, England, Campbell was participating in youth theater before he even entered high school. By college, he was studying drama at the University of Exeter followed by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. After graduating, Campbell, headed straight to the U.S. to pursue a career on screen. He initially landed what seemed like a big break with a starring role on the sitcom pilot "Commando Nanny" (WB, 2004), but when the show was not picked up, Campbell began auditioning again, and was soon cast in the spoof "Date Movie" (2006). He followed this up with an appearance in "Epic Movie" (2007), where he met his future wife, actor Jayma Mays. The two wed in 2011, but in the meantime, Campbell played one of many victims on the murder mystery series "Harper's Island" (CBS, 2009-2010), surviving for an impressive 11 episodes. After a stint co-starring on the short-lived comedy series "Mixology" (ABC, 2013-14) as well as a recurring role as love interest Logan Beekman on "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" (Netflix, 2015-), Campbell won his role on "Great News," starring alongside Andrea Martin and Briga Heelan.
