Debt
Cops are called to an apartment where a baby is wailing. Hannah, (Sabrina Jiang) a six-year-old girl, is found alone with her baby sister. She said her mother had gone out to meet a man. That was over a week ago. It's hard to track down her mother, because the girls don't speak English. The best Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) can do is find the girls' aunt Li Mei, (Ming Na) who says her sister Jiao had tried to get her oldest daughter Ping (Jenny Wong) to come over from China. Since she was an illegal alien, it appears Jiao had a huge debt to repay. The detectives go to Chinatown and find out Jiao was looking for her daughter at the detention center, because she got busted coming into the U.S. They talk to Ping's lawyer, Roger Baker (Loren Dean), who handles immigration cases and informed them Ping came to him for help.
