Zubeidaa

Zubeidaa is the only daughter of Suleman Seth, a film producer in Mumbai. Zubeidaa acts in films secretly, but when her father finds out, he forbids her and arranges her marriage to her friend's son. Later, when her first marriage breaks up, Zubeida remarries a Hindu prince but is soon prompted to take drastic action because of her tumultuous relationship with her husband.
