A Hallmark Channel original movie. PR representative Rory is leading a stressful life. She’s on the cusp of being promoted from her junior role at Extend Publicity, her long-term boyfriend Jason has broken things off, and she now must help organize her parents’ vow renewal during Extend’s busiest season. Looking forward to spending time with her sister and best friend Cleo at Lily Lake (the site of her parents’ first meeting), she’s prepared for a fun, albeit work filled, family getaway. Meanwhile, temporary custodian and son of the owner of Lily Bed & Breakfast, Noah, is having a similarly stressful time. The once thriving family business is failing, his father is prepared to sell, and all the effort he’s been putting into the B&B hasn’t been helping. A famed travel blogger is on her way to review Lily Lake, and her word will either make or break the Inn’s future. Arriving at Lily B&B, Rory finds an unwelcome surprise – ex Jason, with his new girlfriend in tow, ready for a romantic holiday. Desperate to avoid humiliation, she latches on to the first man she sees as her new boyfriend. This being the man behind the reception desk, Noah. After he plays along for the ensuing awkward interaction, the two strike up a deal. Rory needs to keep her fake relationship to hide her impulsive lie (and maybe use it to win back Jason) – and Noah needs help to quickly rebrand the B&B and recapture its homey charm.
