During the Korean War, estranged North and South Korean soldiers cross paths at a fairy tale-like village called Dongmakgol. The two groups confront each other with hostility but the charming villagers slowly melt their aggression. When the war threatens the lives of the villagers, the soldiers must unite to protect the innocence.
