Unlawful Justice

Remi, a timid warmhearted LAPD officer, has dreams of uplifting his local community, but behind on rent and short on his daughter’s medical bills, Remi tries to bump up his arrest numbers to get a raise. He starts working double shifts and abuses anti-depressants to get through the long hours. Drew, an innocent and upstanding, inner-city high school senior, has just been accepted to college but can’t pay for tuition. Drew’s starts to sell small bits of cocaine to pay for the first college bill. After a few small drug deals, Drew looks to make one big final score. Remi catches wind of the drug deal and attempts to break it up, but when he doesn’t follow the LAPD protocol he’s put on administrative leave. With no way to pay rent and his daughter hospitalized, he hits the streets hell-bent on tracking down Drew. Remi and Drew eventually come to a standoff, and with both at gunpoint, only one comes out alive.
