The Year of the Hare

Tom Vatanen, star photographer for a major Canadian magazine, is about to receive the Journalist of the Year award. At the request of Peter, his editor-in-chief, he agrees to cover a dramatic news story in the suburbs of Montreal. On the way home, Peter's car hits a young hare. Without a word, Tom gets out of the car and heads into the forest to find the animal. From this unexpected encounter, between a man and a hare with almost magical powers, will be born an indestructible friendship. It will lead the two new companions through the Canadian Great North, in a series of impressive adventures, similar to an initiation quest.
