The four symbolic "cups" of the Passover Sedar helped the Jews to recall the miraculous ways by which God delivered his people. Jesus had in mind a "fifth cup" when he prayed in the garden after the Last Supper for His Heavenly Father to "take this cup from me." In this session you will consider what Jesus did in taking the cup of God's wrath so that we could be spared from it.
