About to turn 30 and pulling together pieces for his next solo album, boy band BTS member Suga takes a trip to locations in the US, Japan, and Korea in 2021-2022 to find inspiration for his work under the moniker Agust D in SUGA: ROAD TO D-DAY. Along the way, he meets some of his musical idols and collaborates with many of them. He looks for ideas and messages to incorporate into his music. He talks about feeling a little lost, creatively and existentially, and he admits he thinks about quitting sometimes. He speaks frankly to the camera about his work, and we see videos of his new songs.
