Streets of Hope
Inspired by a True Story. Over 2,000 gang youth taken off our streets. The year is 1993 and street gangs are running out of control. People are scared. Santos, 16, (Avan Jogia - Victorious, Twisted, Tut) is barely surviving on the dangerous streets of the city. Thrown out of his home by an abusive father, Santos is in serious trouble. Reverend Minassian, 53, (Emmy Award Winner Michael Badalucco) knows nothing about street life, but feels the need to step out of his comfort zone and help young men desperately trapped in gangs. Santos and Reverend Minassian live in two very different worlds and yet, by the grace of God, their paths collide, greatly changing both of their lives in the process. This film is about taking risks, overcoming the impossible, and bringing hope to the streets.
